The second of two new collections of Latin MIDI Samples. Hot Salsa! contains specialist salsa loops; from sensuous basslines to punctuating brass; classic piano montunos to snakey guitar lines; from the all-important component parts of the fundamental rhythm section (shakers, claves, bongos, congas and more) to fiery timbale breaks, fills and much more.
The collection is organized into 7 main instrument folders each relating to one of the main instrumental groups (see Category list). Inside are both 'Patterns' (short, 2 or 4 bar loops) and 'Parts' (longer, 8-12 bar phrases with classic salsa chord progressions.
Everything can be transposed, edited, and voiced at will and, as with all Twiddly.Bits libraries, everything has been MIDI-recorded by top players in the genre.
SMF Type 1 file format. Guaranteed to work with all DAWs and hardware sequencers that can load/import .MIDs: Cubase (all versions, including LE and Sequel), GarageBand, Pro Tools, Logic, Acid, Reason, Ableton Live, FL Studio, Live, and Cakewalk (all version), and with all VSTs or synth sound sources.
