Creating Drum Beats

BFD Eco’s user interface is efficient and straightforward. You can trigger the samples from an electronic drum set, external MIDI device (like an MPC or keyboard), or simply sequence them in BFD’s sequencer or in the MIDI piano role of your favorite digital audio workstation. Multiple articulations and velocity control for each drum allows for amazingly complex and dynamic drum patterns. BFD Eco has a humanize feature that improves any quantized drum beat making it fell more natural.

Mixing

BFD contains its own mixer to control the levels and over all blending of drums sounds. Mix multiple microphones on the same drum, top and bottom snare microphones for example. Limit a drum to the direct sound of a microphone or let the other drums bleed into the signal. Reverb and dynamics can be adjusted to taste or you can use a preset to jump to a fully preset mixer and fine tune accordingly. Control room ambience to fix your composition and enjoy true flexibility in your drum mixes.
